As the third thematic work in the “Deji Commercial & Art Bazaar” series, the fifth-floor public area continues the core ambition of breaking away from traditional static frameworks of retail. By deeply integrating futuristic cyberpunk aesthetics with art installations, the design constructs an immersive consumer environment that fuses technology with interactivity. Responding to the younger demographic and the demand for novelty, the designers introduce dynamic installations and scenographic experiences to unlock commercial potential and enhance brand value.
Drawing on cyberpunk elements and a sense of fantastical futurism, the public area of the fifth floor is shaped into a powerful visual landmark. High-brightness neon spectrums establish an immersive, otherworldly narrative that instantly pulls visitors into a dreamlike cyber world.
The ceiling employs an exposed-spray finish, leaving visible the metal beams and pipework to preserve an industrial undertone. Zonal color spraying combined with dotted and linear light sources creates a layered sense of chromatic rhythm. Walls embedded with LED strips and screens generate dynamic visual effects, producing a daytime neon atmosphere. Geometric floor patterns interwoven with linear lighting articulate the spatial veins, functioning like invisible guiding lines that naturally lead visitors into the cluster of brand stores.
The walls incorporate LED screens that display digital slogans in animated neon effects, with content easily updated via backend systems. A modular approach to installation design, combined with low-cost digital refresh strategies, ensures that the spatial experience can be continuously renewed—avoiding aesthetic fatigue while offering the industry a reference model for the evolution of retail in the era of the “experience economy.”
In terms of layout, the designer introduces the informality and interactivity of a marketplace. A “center-and-radiation” circulation strategy guarantees both clarity of navigation and efficient accessibility. A continuous ring-shaped main circulation defines the spatial core, linking all brand storefronts into one seamless browsing journey and ensuring equitable accessibility across the retail network. Secondary circulation routes branch off with clarity and simplicity, improving reachability and flow efficiency throughout the space.
Despite its visually intense expression, the spatial structure is anchored by a rational and fluid circulation framework. Highly saturated colors and diverse lighting effects are embedded within this ordered skeleton, allowing immersive experiences to unfold with clarity and coherence.
The storefront façades adopt angular, folded-line geometries, creating rhythmic spatial pushes and pulls at the edges. This not only enhances the visual tension of the pathways but also enriches the district-like experience with multiple spatial orientations, extending the sense of wandering through a marketplace.
Through differentiated themes, the “Deji Commercial & Art Bazaar” series builds a layered narrative framework and an interconnected spatial matrix. By continuously advancing multi-level, multi-dimensional spatial innovations, the designers aim to refresh the imagination of what a retail environment can be—empowering commercial real estate to evolve from spatial operation toward content-driven operation, and setting new benchmarks for the value of commercial space.
